Free online zines

Just discovered online publication site issuu and I'm totally hooked. I can get inspired with a new zine everyday and it costs me nothing, which means I will have more money to spend on shoes. (*Twinkle eyes*)

Today I checked out I love fake zine (on left) and then Ninja Mag issue 12 (on right) and a theme emerged. I like piggies.

Need new shoes?

Don't know about you but I'm a bit over all those shoes with sculptured heels and futuristic/fetish inspired shapes. Some days I just want to slip into a nice clean, simple and comfortable pair. These colourful creations from NY based company Marais USA fit the bill just perfectly.

Casual Friday

When Friday finally rolls around I never know what to wear. I want to be comfortable but still achieve optimal chicness level without looking like a try-hard. Considering that most Fridays I wish I could just get away with wearing my old tracksuit pants I think the alternatives above are not such bad options. All images from yesstyle.

Now that we are officially in recession thanks to the GFC it feels appropriate to stick with basic black and white. But who says it has to be boring? I'm liking the Balmain option of loose tee with skinny jeans - easy peasy and oh-so-chic.

I love Norway with it's dramatic fjords, intense winters and very cute reindeer. I visited twice already and would love to go back again.

Norwegian design is quite practical but colourful and quirky at the same time, kinda like these examples from Elton & Jacobsen.

Also found these exquisite lingerie from Ida Gullhav is hand made to measure and is totally TDF (to die for. I've had enough of OMG). Just email the details to the designer and get your own delectable garments. I'm saving for mine.

Australian focus: Ginger & Smart
