Helsinki looks great

I spent most of June 2008 in Finland and fell head over heels with the people, the fashion, the architecture, the culture and of course the cute reindeer. I plan to go back for another visit but until then I get my Finnish fashion fix at Hel-Looks. To my friends Pia, Sonja, Antti, Maria and Jere: Hyvää Kesää and miss you all!

Pre-Summer 2010 Cruise Collection : Balenciaga

I just have to say it: I heart Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga! These are my favourites from the pre-SS10 cruise collection and I love it all: The waist length jackets with the peek-a-boo shirts, the plaids, the ruffles, the floral shifts (with and without the volume) and of course those black peep toe booties...

On sale at Saks Fifth Avenue

Jonathan Kelsey Diva Booties | Max Kilbardin Shoe Booties

Christian Louboutin Carnival d'Orsay Pumps | Jimmy Choo Sandals

Prada Demi Wedge Sandals | Giuseppe Zanotti Studded Sandals
Saks are having a sale and there's plenty to choose from. These are my favourites so far but since I've booked my trip to the US and Canada later this year I have no money to spend on shoes. *sniff*

PMS for Nike sportswear

I have been a Nike girl ever since my grandma brought me a pair of white & pink Cortez with 3 velcro straps when I was 11. She bought them in the US because back then you couldn't find the velcro ones here. I now own about 30 pairs of sneakers (not all Nikes though) but my favourite pair is a vintage 1980 hi top canvas blazers with a big red swoosh. A bit like these white lo version. These pics are from PMS : project Muff & Stit. Not sure that I get it but I like it. You can see the rest here.

Fit for a princess

For those of you lucky enough to live in Europe you must invest in some adorable lingerie from French label Princesse Tam Tam. I can't wait to get my hands on some but Australia's is just a bit too far...

Australian focus: Dhini Couture

Dhini Pararajasingham's creations for her label Dhini Couture combine some exquisite tailoring with a touch of up-marke eccentricity and delectable fabrics. My most cherished item of clothing is a pair of superbly constructed charcoal woolen jodhpurs by Dhini which I  bought on sale at Marais. I love them so much that I'm afraid to wear them out so they only come out on special occasions. I promise they will be in my first photo shoot. These pics (via Zimbio) are from Dhini's S/S 09/10 show at RAFW.
