Laura Lombardi Jewelry

Visit Laura Lombardi's Etsy shop for beautiful necklaces and a bit more. My favourite is the bone and gold feather necklace (left) and the asterisk necklace (right).

Sneaker love

I'm in love with these Nike Air Epic. Problem is they belong to someone else and even if they didn't they probably don't come in my size. I am oh-so-jealous! You can see the rest of the collection at Oki-Ni.

Rainy day

Today's been raining a lot in Melbourne. I love winter and this Swedish-looking window makes me feel all warm inside. Via Lolita.

Roller Derby

Went to a Roller Derby for the first time yesterday. Huge crowd, short shorts and losta fun. Took some pics of the fashion on the field (enough stripes there to keep me happy).

Birdmotel shopalog

These lovely pics by Dan Gray are from Australian online store Birdmotel's Spring 09 Shopalog (a combo for shopping & catalogue I presume). The trends pages are good for outfit inspiration as well.

Colourful Tuesday : Moofus

These prints of Coogee and Bronte beaches in Sydney are by 11 year old Australian illustrator Moofus. I think they're just too good for words and at $20 an absolute bargain. I'm putting my order through. Get them at Lost at E Minor shop.

Technical difficulties

I'm having trouble publishing pics to my blog. I'm not yet sure if I can publish text but if you're reading this it's a good sign. I'm trying to sort it out with my service provider and keeping my fingers crossed...

Wren Clothing

L.A. based label Wren has caught my eye today. Simple style with a twist. Can't go wrong with that.

Pixie Market shop finds

Supersocial Isadora dress
Mogil Criss Cross shoes | Maud Solo Snake Flat
Maud Legacy Buckle boots | Maud Mayhem Slash Bootie

I was looking for a bustier dress online today (and couldn't find one I liked) but stumbled across the super-trendy Pixie Market. Although the range is targeted at the younger crowd I thought the shoes selection was spot on. Unfortunately those beautiful Legacy buckle boots have sold out...

The competition which is now in it's 5th year has awarded the accessories prize to footwear designer Daniele Michetti. Photographer focus: Gemma Booth

I love these photos by Gemma Booth because they look so everyday, just better, a bit more idyllic maybe. They look like a nice little moment in time captured on camera (but everyone just happen to be attractive and well dressed). Gemma's blog is great as well. Check it out here.
