Colourful Tuesday: Ruffle Aprons

Last night I realised that I haven't posted any of my own work yet. Well, there you are. These vintage-inspired aprons were a lot of fun to design and still put a smile on my face. I think they are currently only available in Australia.

Colourful Tuesday: Bonbon Kakku

Kipikipi by Saara
Meli Melo by E.M.
Nuage de beau temps by EnPetitComite

Bonbon Kakku is concept similar to Threadless but in fabric form. You can buy fabrics by the meter or submit a design and if it is popular it will be sold on the site. There's a Christmas Competition running until the end of Nov and I think I might just have to submit some designs.

Colourful Tuesday: Tulu Textiles

Yep, I'm officially back from my holiday to Canada and the USA. I had a great time and wish I could have stayed longer. Much much longer.
Highlights: Portland was the loveliest place with the nicest people on earth. The Canadian Rockies were too beautiful to describe in words (pics coming). Montreal has a great vibe and really reminded me of Melbourne.
I'm still going through my 1,398 pics and will post some shortly.

These pics are from the colourful and vintage inspired bed linen range by designer Elizabeth Hewitt of Istanbul-based label Tulu.

Colourful Tuesday : Supermarket Sarah

Despite it being Colourful Tuesday I'm feeling quite flat today since someone I like is leaving the country today, possibly for good. I'm sure I'll get over it in the next few days but until then I'll just have to visit the gorgeous Supermarket Sarah online shop for some pick-me-up buys.

Knitty Gritty

I know I'm a bit late for easter but bunnies never go out fashion. Just discovered these adorable knitted creations from Catherine Tough.
Unfortunately the sample patterns section is empty so if you're good with needles and want to make your own you might need to look elsewhere. My dear friend and knitting guru Pia told me about Ravelry which is kinda like Facebook for knitters. So join for free and get your needles clacking.
